About the Founder
Sophia Swindell
Sophia's journey began as she watched her brother Dawson, who is nonverbal and 23 years old, navigate the world of autism once he was diagnosed at 18-months old. As his sibling, Sophia has always felt a deep connection to individuals like her brother and knew from an early age that she wanted to make a difference in their lives. After five years of teaching special education in the school system, Sophia recognized the need for services that went beyond traditional education methods.
SpectrumSafe is a combination of Sophia’s 2 favorite hobbies. Providing sitter services to families who have loved ones with special needs and photography services as a cherry on top.
As Sophia looks toward the future, she is committed to continuing her mission of caring for her brother Dawson and expanding SpectrumSafe Group's reach to serve even more individuals and families in need.
